Glenlossie distillery was founded by John Duff, who had a tumultuous relationship with the whisky business. The facility houses two separate distilleries: Mannochmore (established in the 1970s) and Glenlossie (built in 1826).
In addition to the distillery, there is also a group of more than a dozen warehouses called "Glenlossie Bonds" that store over 200,000 casks of maturing whisky. These Glenlossie Bond warehouses are where Diageo sends casks from many of their other nearby distilleries to be matured.
