This extraordinary Slane Irish Whiskey Special Edition builds on the core Slane Irish Whiskey, a mix of grain and malt whiskeys brought together through the flavours of three casks: virgin-oak, refill casks and Oloroso Sherry casks, giving complex flavours of vanilla, oak, caramel, butterscotch and dried fruit.
Slane Irish Whiskey Special Edition is inspired by Lord Henry Conyngham and the Slane Castle Concert for bringing Ireland together which took place on August 16, 1981. His ideas now live on through the concert and Slane Irish Whiskey.
Apart from the signature three casks, Slane Irish Whiskey Special Edition uses also extra virgin oak casks which increase the vanilla and toasted oak notes found in the core blend. It comes with an increased ABV of 45%.
