The ultimate example of a Miyagikyo single malt, this Nikka whisky has been made with carefully selected yeast strains before being finished in ex-Sherry casks. This no-age release provides the classic delicate, floral character as known and loved by fans of Japanese whisky.
Nose: Floral notes at the front, then malted barley, exotic fruit, liquorice and camphor. Also notes of burnt wood and ash.
Taste: Lively, with malted barley, liquorice, warming spices and chocolate tones.
finish: Long and soft, with floral notes and a lingering balance of spice and nuts.
