Nikka Nikka Tailored

Nikka Tailored is a superb Japanese blended whisky that brings together the best of Miyagikyo and Yoichi distilleries. With its perfect balance of sweet fruit and more bitter notes, it's ideal for enjoying alongside dark chocolate.

Nose: Dried fruit and caramel sauce – raisins, sultanas and baked apples, drizzled with toffee and served on a polished oak plate. The fragrant fruity notes become waxy and the toffee becomes brown-sugar-dusted brioche with time in the glass.

Taste: Softer than expected from the nose, with fresher fruit notes at the front – apple and pear pies studded with sultanas. Spice builds, with nutmeg and freshly snapped cinnamon sticks joined by hints of clove and polished oak boards.

Finish: A burst of mint slowly fades to reveal linger cinnamon, oak and fresh apple.
