A great single malt from Gordon & MacPhail’s Connoisseurs Choice collection.Matured in refill American hogsheads for 26 years, a non-chill-filtered single malt, bottled at a strength of 53.3% ABV. Sweet zesty with hints of chocolate and ripe fruits.
Nose: Sweet honey followed by toffee apples. Refreshing hints of lemon and lime complement subtle aromas of freshly cut mango and apricot.
Taste: Peppery yet sweet; poached pear, creamy vanilla and vibrant lime flavours develop into ripe tropical fruits with hints of chocolate. Charred oak and menthol notes come to the fore.
