A 13 year old limited edition bottle from Aberlour, only 2000 bottles were released.
The whisky offers sweet, silky notes of vanilla custard, butterscotch and salted caramel, paired with walnuts and sweet red apples.
Nose: Sultanas, dried apricots, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg are tied together with dark chocolate & treacle.
Palate: Orange zest, freshly baked ginger cake and homemade blackberry jam hints of poached pears, liquorice and a dusting of muscovado sugar.
Finish: Long and luxurious, with smooth warming spice.
