A successful experiment from the house of Glenfiddich. After a long maturing period of 23 years in bourbon and sherry casks, the Grand Cru was then finished in rare French Cuvee casks. The combination of the finest French and Scottish flavours had created an extraordinary, dark gold, and refined single malt.
Nose: Apple blossom, freshly baked bread and candied lemon.
Taste: Layers of rich vanilla oak, sweet brioche, sandalwood, pear sorbet and white grape.
Finish: Long, opulent and sweet.
